Was at York university the other day and they are selling 2gb and 4 gb ipod nano (both colors) for educational price, 225 and 279 plus a free belkin case. I had a quick glance at the cases and they have most of the ones on the belkin website.

Hmm... Do you think I could stride into York store flashing my McMaster student card to get it? :cheesygri

I've had friends that don't go to York and were able to buy all different kinds of Mac stuff including their ipods. They don't seem to care whether or not you have a student ID.

If you want to buy from belkin site there coupon "12345" still works for about 45% off

I think any student ID should work for the discount. Since apple sells it with the same discount on their educational website it's probably them who offers the discount and not the university.

apple.ca offers free engraving (worth more than a free case?) and free shipping for educational purchases.
The cost of parking at York kills this "deal."

Just wondering..
Belkin is the US? If so we'll get charged taxes, duty an brokerage at the border.. Or am I missing something?
Thanks!
edit: 11.50$ for shipping?!
ok, that kills the deal.
