I saw two racks full of hockey gloves on sale at Crappy Tires on Queensway just E of 427. They are all at about $38, 1/2 price from original of $76.

You might want to check it out there. Many stores should have or will soon have end of season sales for hockey equipment.

not really sure if it's a good deal or not, but I find that hockey gloves, you gotta try em on to see if they fit good. I'm using 13.5" ITECH's, but a 13.5" in a Nike, per se, might be too big/small. Gloves have different feels to them too. Some are angled differently than others and fit different. At least that's what I find.

i know that's what i tough but i figured for the price i was willing to pay i couldn't be too picky.
also its my first pair of gloves.

If it's your first pair, how do you know you're looking for a size 14? Anyway the ones pictured look like a standard pair... screams uncomfortable to me.

If you are just playing recreationally then they'll be fine. If your sure that its your size then dont worry too much.

my friend had 14.5 and i find it just a bit too big.
yes its just for recreational use and for my university intramural league, nothing big.

here is a more detailed description of the ones i got.

just something to think about...

I used to use these old Cooper 14" gloves that came up my forearm to just below my elbow pads.

I bought a new pair of Itech 14", but they don't come up the forearm as much, so there is almost 3" of unprotected arm between the glove and my elbowpads. So what you ask? I thought the same until I got slashed in that unprotected spot - OUCH.

I'm now wearing the 15 yr old Cooper gloves, and the new Itech ones are collecting dust.

So I guess what I'm saying is that unless you're last name is Jagr, you might want to buy a glove that comes up the forearm quite a bit (or buy bigger elbow pads)...

i play friedn;y ball hockey i very hardly get slashed. i've been playing without gloves for a long time but my wrist is hurting now so i don't want to risk it. i'm looking for mobility over protection

i play in a 'non-contact' league, but in reality, every now-and-then, some dope-head gets a brain-fart and thinks he's Tie Domi.
