Just went to 2F tonight, it was previously 419. We didn't know they have changed owner until we saw the menu.
In short, the place is more expensive than 419, and the food is really bad. Not worth going, period.
Fri night dinner is $24.99/person it is pretty expensive compare to other AYCE places. And the price isn't show in the menu, until you asked the waitress. I waned to leave, but one of our friends said since we have sat down, might as well give it a try....
The have added the prviously 'optional' itmes in the menu, namely the osyter. It sucks, it give you a mouth full of sand. And the rest of the stuff, is not even close to 419 standard as the waitress told us before... To make it worst, shrimp are not fresh and the grilled mushroom has chlorine taste. And our last order was placed @ 8:45. The waitress come over ask for our last order @ 9:15, and we told her our order still not yet arrived. The was asked again at 9:30 & 9:45. Eventually ONE of the order (2F steak) arrives at 9:55. And yet I still have tried the white tuner steak cuz it was never arrived. And everytime the waitress keep asking us to repeat our order, but they do have a computerized system to keep track of orders...
The one of our order - cocktail shrimp, one of the shrimp was falled off from the glass and landed on the tray, the guy just pick up w/ his hand and put it back and gave it to us. The same tray was used to pick up used plates btw...
Anyways, at the end, we asked to owner/person in charge over and gave him our feedback. He didn't say much except ask us to give him the feedback in writing... And only 10% Off was given. No sorry was every spoken... Except keep asking us if we want the chesse cake we ordered like half hour ago....
BTW, the man's room was so smokey, I have to hold my breath when I tried to rinse my mouth after having the osyter.
One of my friend has a interesting comment, the quality of food is even worst than HK Style tea restruant... Yet the price is so expensive....
Sure they will not see us going back there again.
p.s. the waitress service was nice tho, but the waiters for sure need some more training....
