Hi, I'm jacksont123, second-time seller. I'm starting the 'The Amazing 25¢ Book Sale!!!' thread to sell some books I have for only 25¢ each. I decided I needed to empty my bookshelf, and make some money out of it. Most of the conditions of these books are fair so that's why I'm selling them for only 25¢ each. Also many of these books are old. There are some books that are hardcover, those will go for 50¢ each. Also the ones that are in mint condition will go for 75¢ each. However, even though this is a price increase it is still considered as a great deal, because you can't find mint conditions, or hardcovers anywhere else for a cheaper price. I'll update this thread occasionally if I have more books for sale.

I live in Scarborough, and you can get this by local pickup or shipping (by payer's expense). I will only accept local pickup payments by cash, not credit cards, or cheques. PM me, Email me at: jacksonx123 at gmail dot com (replace the x with a t), or leave me a message at (202) 33-99-33-9.

Note: The retail prices were taken from the year of publishing.

My next batch is going to have about 15 books, that are probably in my opinion much better than the ones I have on sale right now. I'm going to add some popular items such as Dr. Atkins' Health Revolution and Charlotte's Web.

bump for books....

why not just donate the books to your local library?

well actually most of the books I have are bought books from the library, because the library sometimes discards some books, and sells them from about 50 cents to 1.00$ each, so it would be pretty weird returning a book that i bought from the library, back to that library... d'ya get what I mean?

Just a suggestion, have you considered a craft sale event? If you check your local community paper they usually list a craft fair or somethign similar that are at community centres or local churches, perhaps heading there for a day to sell your books for a quarter each would probably get you better results.

Something else you might want to consider, if you still want to read books is trading them up at a local used book store, we have some in Vancouver and some local coffee shops allow trades of older used books.

Ignore the guy above me, its nice to see someone put the effort into selling.

Good luck to you bump!

thanks very much for the tip lapopal! :) Although I have never heard of a craft sale event, I'll try finding one. It also do think it's cool to trade books at a local book store, but I actually would want to make money from this. Un/fortunately (i'm not sure - depends on the comment) I didn't see the comment from the guy that was above you. Also I would like to thank you for thanking me for putting the effort into selling -- which I did by taking pictures, and researching useful information about the books. *pats myself on the back* Thanks again for the tip! ;)
