I know of 2:

Petro Canada
Kennedy & Finch
$3 for 5mins

Shell
Hwy 7 & Leslie (West of Leslie)
$2 for 4mins

Anyone know of any others? I want to try new places :)

There's a really ghetto coinwash by mccowan/sheppard. south side of sheppard, one block east of mccowan. I think it was $2 for 4 mins. don't remember exactly. I prefer the kennedy and finch one.

There's no way in hell u can get anything done in 5mins

I got a pre-rinse, foam brush and rinse in, with like 2 seconds remaining. And I went buckwild fast with the foam brush too!

Well..if somebody just wanted to pre-soak, high-pressure soap, and rinse...5 mins is more than adequate. however, if u wanted to add the foam brush and gloss wax into the mix, probably need around 10mins.

I usually finish with 1min remaining at petro.

I just use pressure soap and rinse. Car is clean enough after that. :)

Pressure soap really doesn't get the car clean at all though.

ghetto coin wash @ kennedy between ellsemere/lawrence on the eastside.
probaby $2 for 4min

another ghetto coin washes @ lawrence between pharmacy/warden north side, $2 for 4 min.

i usually do a quick soap up the car, then use remainin' 3 min to foam
brush the whole car....and usually takes me 5-6min...than
add coins again and rince, than spray so called "wax"

REMEBER to spray the foam brush b4 usin' it....cuz i've seen huge trucks even
bulldozers in these coin wash b4 (bayview/hwy 7) ...so rince off
all sand/crap trap on the brush!

sure it does! foam soap will do a better job...but pressure soap is fine if you just want to quickly spray off some of that nasty road salt.

Heh, maybe I'll do the best of both worlds next time.

No prerinse, just Pressure soap, foam soap and rinse :D

Next time I won't fumble so much and save maybe 10-20seconds off my time, :D

That one is ok, but I don't really like going to that one. Personally, I just hate those double bays. Very easy for you to get accidentally sprayed or for you to do it to someone else. I prefer the one at Keele & Eglinton.

A couple of others that I know of off the top of my head is on Dundas east of Scarlett, and Dundas east of Runnymede.

I never use the foam brush. My dark paint can't handle the spiderweds that brush creates.

Where I go, yes I know it's more expensive, is the SHELL on Kennedy and 7 (sounth of the Mercedes Benz Dealership). They have indoor wash bays. It's warm. I can bring my own bucket and wash mitt too. You get charged per minute.

Weston & Finch, just a little west of Weston Rd.

$2 = 3 min start, $1 each additional 2 min more?

If no one is waiting, you can use a bucket and sponge:

Step 1 - $2 - put to rinse, blast all the dirt off your car, blast your mats
Step 2 - before it runs out, fill your bucket with car wash detergent inside
Step 3 - spend all the time you want and wash your car with the sponge & bucket full of soapy water
Step 4 - $2 - rinse all the soap off your car with water
Step 5 - drive out of the bay, and dry your car with a nice chamois

ALL done, super clean for $4 total :cheesygri

One on Hwy 7, East of McCowan. Street called Laidlaw. $2 for 4 minutes. I only use these in the winter to spray the salt and crap off my car. In the summer i do it by hand.

Never use the brush at those places, they will scratch your car.
