Looking for some advice when going to Korea in middle of May:
Where can I find a low priced agency in the GTA (trust worthy)
-got some advice from some thread i found, but many people told me that they are not trustyworthy!
What are some good packages while i'm there (travel packages)
Any advice for a first time travellor into korea and in general?

I used to live in korea for 8 months just last year... hopefully this helps...
usually korean air and air canada have the cheapest flights to korea... booking directly with them sometimes is the cheapest way to go... at least when i flew home from there last may that's what i found.... if you're travelling there in may you should get great weather... dont go in june/july though as that tends to be monsoon season...
when i flew to korea from toronto i used a travel agent in K-town but all the ones i visited seemed really shady... im not sure i received the best deal... and i ended up on korean air anyway...
while in korea i found the best way to get around was on the bullet train... it's about $80 round trip from Seoul to Pusan (which is the farthest travel point by train) and the trip takes about 2.5 hours (normally 5+ hours by car or slower train)... if you're into sight seeing for traditional type things (temples, old cities, etc.) make sure to go to Gyeongju... if you like city life and want to see how koreans live just stay in Seoul... that city is HUGE and there's tons of stuff to do there... from Seoul you can also take some day trips to the surrounding mountains where there are some temples to visit... there's also a tour of the DMZ you can take which is the closest anyone can get to north korea... there's actually a tour of north korea you can go on but i've heard that can only be arranged from Beijing in china???
keep in mind not many people in korea speak english... brush up on some key phrases... buy a phrase book... lonley planet one is detailed but it's a bit technical.... there's one called "how to make out in korean" (funny name yeah) that's pretty usefull because it spells pronunciations of korean words phonetically using the english alphabet
if you have any questions feel free to ask me...
