I had just switch from Fido monthly plan to prepaid...

Currently using the $30cad for 60day at 15cent/min...

My question is, will it cost me anything to receive text message? Since everytime I receive a new voice message, they send out a text message~ This can be quit costly~~ Anyone know the answer?

Any incoming text messages from other mobile handsets or from Fido are free of charge.

One more question regarding prepaid service from rogers... do they have a expiry date? Fido has like a 60 days expiry date once you starting using the prepaid card...

Yes, Rogers has expiration dates ranging from 15-30 days depending on the prepaid voucher although it seems they no longer specify on the website.

the Text message notification for when you have a Voicemail (from +18) is a System Message, send from the voicemail Server, and does Not/should Not count towars your sms count at all.

What about for Rogers? (either prepaid or monthly?)

I think it's the same for Rogers at least for prepaid.
