Palestinian stabs two near Gush Etzion settlement bloc

A Palestinian man on Tuesday stabbed two people near the West Bank settlement bloc of Gush Etzion. The man assaulted the people waiting at a bus stop on the Gush Etzion intersection.
He was shot by security forces personnel present at the scene, sustaining serious wounds.
The victims, a foreign laborer and a 17-year-old girl, and the assailant were rushed to the Hadassah University Hospital, Ein Karem in Jerusalem for treatment.
The foreign laborer is in critical condition and the girl is being treated for light wounds.
Previously, it had been falsely reported that an Israel Defense Forces soldier had been wounded in the attack.
