I'm planning a trip to Vegas, leaving from Vancouver on March 24, staying until the 28th or so. Does anyone know any WICKED deals / travel agents / etc. I'm not from Vancouver, so if anyone knows any deals from newspapers, local ads, etc. from Vancity, it'd be helpful! I've done the expedia/travelocity/orbitz/etc. thing already - looking for other deals!
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

SEARCH FUNCTION! there are 1 or 2 other long, argumentative, but occasionally useful threads about vegas trips in this forum.
From my own research... package deals seem not so good. You're locked into specific days for the packages, and you can probably find as good deals on hotels as through a package.
Also if you book flights separately you have more choice of flights... believe it or not the cheapest flight I found over xmas was with Air Canada. (well it surprised me!)
Watch out for low-price ads that exclude fees & taxes that add a whole lot to the flight costs. Flight center for example does this.

Ya, surprisingly enough, AC is the cheapest I've found thus far for the dates I want. So, do people generally think that booking via a hotel's website is the best bet?

I doubt it!!
I booked my hotel through hotels.com ... if you browse threads & forums though I think you can find even better deals.

Drive to Seattle and fly from SeaTac (SEA) airport to LV. Last time I went, it was about $275 CAD return. This is a better deal if you're planning to go with 3 or 4 ppl. Parking is about $8 USD per day.

I used to think this way, but no. Getting your air and hotel separately generally is your best bet. Check out the various info in the other threads about the subject.

Fly out of Bellingham WA airport direct to Las Vegas for about $200 US. Bellingham is located about 1 hour south of Vancouver and 15 mins from border.
Here is the link to the web site, good deals simple service!

A couple points to keep in mind.
1. Customs going there and back can be a hassle...much more so than flying by air
2. Leaving your vehicle unattended in their [pay] parking lot. If you do this here then this should not be a concern.
