Purolater problems w galleria, leaving parcels in mailbox...for 500$ of cards!!

Ok,

I am a bit pissed off about this.
I ordered 500 X 2 of the cards from Staples. They were send through Purolater courier and were supposed to be signed for.

Well Purolater just left the envelopes in my mailbox and the Big, Huge Purolater envelope was totally sticking out of my mailbox and could be seen from 50 feet away.

The bad part is that I live right downtown in a fairly high-crime area and have had packages stolen from my front steps about 10 times this year...

Purolater is lucky than no one "stole" these cards and that they did not have to pay for a replacement wich would have been 1,000 in total.

The lesson from this is always insure your packages for the replacement value.

Also that Purolater sucks!

If this is a frequent occurence and you paid for the proper service and didn't receive it, I would communicate with the area unit manager and lodge a complaint. And ask to see the signature on the scanner. Unless you're one of those signature not required customers, SOMEONE has to sign for it on the scanner, and in your case I'm guessing he/she signed it themselves.

Do yourself and everybody else in your area a favour and lodge a complaint.
