'Evo 08' spotted at pacific mall

i was at steeles and kenedy waiting for the bus. i peered down the street to see if it was coming when i spotted a yellow lancer. but at a closer glance i noticed that it had an intercooler. and a flimsey front bumper. and vents on the hood. in fact, it looked just like an evo! the license plate was located on the bottom left of the front end and it read 'EVO 08'!

i would not believe that someone would go to the extend of buying a lancer and making it appear to be a evo8. and also getting the custom plate to read 'evo 08'.

i am sure some of you around the pacific area have also spotted this car. a handful of my friends have also seem it. what do you think?

You'd have to read the OP's other posts to understand why 15-20_God said that.

Some people go to great lengths to mod their cars, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. If it aint available in Canada yet then it probably isn't an EVO-8. I guess the only way would be to jump in front of the car next time you see it and ask the driver personally. But then again, if he sais "oh ya its real" he could be BSing. I remember some guy in high school tried to turn his 1995 Jetta into a Bimmer. :lol:

No, it's not a rich neighbourhood. Turns out there a kit car garage in Streetsville that specializes in converting Volkswagon Beetles into Countach replicas. That's why there were so many.
