I got an email from AC websavers re: $490 round trip to Paris but when I tried to checkout to see if it was true, it rang up $598 cheapest fare.
What's with that?
False advertising? I was well within their required date range.

did it say FROM? fares increase as the planes fill up.

FYI a co-worker of mine is flying the Tuesday (not a *priority day i reckon) after next week to Paris via New York with Continental Airlines
$600 so i think the price you got sounds about right.

It was $598 without fees or surcharges or taxes YET,
And I only got the email about the $490 deal round trip TO->Paris on Feb 22...

They only have a limited number of seats for that price in that date range. Once those seats have sold, the price increases.
