This is a three thread survey; this is part three the other two linked bellow (or will be). Please fallow the instructions if you choose to take part in the survey. Please choose the best answers to the questions bellow. There are three questions in this thread, and two in the first and three in the second. Currently the general rule for copyright is that is expires 50 years after the calendar year of the authors’ death, the exceptions being an audio recording which expires 50 years starting the end of the calendar year that it was first recorded, and the other being cinematographic “a film or video published within 50 years of its making is protected for 50 years from the date of publication. If it was not published within that 50-year period, it is protected for 50 years from the date of making.” Do you think these 50 year terms should be extended?
