I use my phone a lot. Chatted with Bell and here's what I got:

300 mins daytime
unlimited evenings (6pm) and weekends
1000 mins incoming
Call Waiting, Display, Basic Voicemail
100 mins long distance Canada
6 months unlimited local talking
SAF included.

All for $50 a month ... 3 yrs contract.

Any thoughts? I think this is awesome.

doesnt seem that hot, you can get a 250 mins and everything else same for $25 or $30 a month. I think its a retention plan.

that's a horrible, horrible plan.

I get 250 minutes during the day instead of your 300, but everything else is pretty much the same.

I pay $20 per month with Rogers.

I have the pay the SAF though, but that still doesn't come close to $50.
You are getting ripped off large!

You must have some special agreement. On Rogers website, you get 150 minutes and unlimited early evening plus wknds for $45, no voice mail, call display, long distance, incoming.

No special agreement.
Read the Rogers thread in hot deals, many, many people have gotten similar plans.

Bell is far too expensive.
You could have got a plan for half the price with Rogers.

The plan you stated sounds like the regular Jawbreaker 50. Its a good plan but not the cheapest.

Bell Mobility is really pushing CORP/IND/EPP plans right now moreso than most other competitors. I would go to your local bell dealer and tell them what company you work for and more likely than not they can find you a very good deal.

Case in point my Coprorate plan with BM.

350 daytime + 350 bonus mins = 700 total minutes
unlimited evenings and weekends starting at 6pm
Touchbase (20 unlimited local calls to one number)
Unlimited text messages
Unlimited Mobile internet (Browsing websites only/ Data not included)
Caller ID
Message center express
Call forwarding
Call waiting
Conference Calling
Detailed billing.
System Access Fee Included
911 Charges Included

$35/month plus taxes = $40.25 per month even.
3 yr contract which i totally dont mind to sign for this plan. Hell give me 4 years...

Right now if you work for most medium sized companies or belong to organizations such as CAA you can get the EP1 Perferred 100 plan.

Im spotty with the details but I believe its somewhere in the likes of :

100 daytime minutes
Unlimited Weeknights Monday to Friday 6pm to 8am
Unlimited Weekends Friday 6pm to Monday 8am
Call Waiting, Call Fowarding, Conference Calling, Detailed billing included
Call Display included***
Message Centre Express included
100 Canadian Long Distance Minutes included
Mobile Browser Included
2/4/6 months Unlimited local calling corresponsding to your contract term.

$30/month plus taxes = $34.50
1/2/3 year contract required.

If you need extra minutes u can add 100 bulk minutes for 10 bucks.

I got that EP1 plan ... it's 200 mins, not 100 mins for $30 ... all the rest is correct.

Amazing plan for my budget!

They start up a brand new contract for you (3 years), but if you break it, it's $200. Hell, they can give me this plan for another 3 years, I'd be more than happy to keep it!

Thanks for the input.
I found this link, which also seemed to offer good deals, similar to CAA/EP1:
http://www.mystudentdeals.com/
Available to canadian university students and families.

seems to be good, can someone comment on the Nokia 2125i I need a cheap phone that can dial numbers, thats about it, don't need pictures or anything. I can just double the warranty on my credit card, so it is no big deal as far as a one year warranty.
