Donald Trump

The Donald went nuclear on the Domestic Diva.
Donald Trump took his war of words with Martha Stewart to a bruising new low yesterday, accusing her of lying about the demise of her "Apprentice" show and likening the lies to her insider-trading scandal.

In a letter to Stewart, Trump blasted her for including him in the excuses she made for the failure of her prime-time show, which was dumped by NBC after one season.

The homemaking honcho told Newsweek that she was supposed to fire Trump from his "Apprentice" show, clearing the way for her to capture the viewership built by The Donald. She said the plan backfired because "Donald really wanted to stay on."

That prompted the egomaniacal builder to flip his wig.

"Essentially, you made this firing up just as you made up your sell order of ImClone," wrote Trump, referring to the stock dump Stewart lied to federal investigators about.

"The only difference is - that was more obvious," Trump continued in the letter obtained by People magazine. "Putting your show on the air was a mistake for everybody - especially NBC."

Stewart, who served a five-month prison term over the ImClone fiasco, was stunned. "The letter is so mean-spirited and reckless that I almost can't believe my longtime friend Donald Trump wrote it," Stewart said in a statement.

She said she was proud of her "Apprentice" experience and claimed, "Many young entrepreneurs learned so much from the show and enjoyed it."

Trump said the kitchen queen was full of baloney.

"Your performance was terrible in that the show lacked mood, temperament and just about everything else a show needs for success," he wrote.

The real estate mogul even trashed Stewart's daughter, Alexis, for being monosyllabic on the show, and panned Martha for writing thank-you notes to contestants she canned.

"Between your daughter, with her one-word statements, your letter writing and, most importantly, your totally unconvincing demeanor, it never had a chance - much as your daytime show is not exactly setting records," Trump wrote.

i can't stand Martha Stewart. She seems really fake and reports of her being a biatch, overbearing and mean are probably true.

I think they should settle this in celebrity boxing match. They can turn this into a business opportunity.

Uppers, next season of the Apprentice is coming soon. The guy is obviously trying to create publicity - he's all about the posturing.

Yeah I 110% agree with you.

His ratings went down big time last season, so he's pretty desperate to get them back up I'm guessing.

The worst part is, this little feud already played its course after Martha's and Donald's last Apprentice premiered last fall...its the same old stuff again.

This is just a publicity stunt... and a pretty lame one at that. They should fire whatever agency came up with this lame attempt at attention.

What the SHOULD have done was release a sex tape of Martha and Donald. Maybe create a scandal with Donald's wife and her reaction to it. Now THAT would have gotten some attention and been all over the tabloids and entertainment news headlines.

Tip for you Donald: Go big or go home.

i remember in one of the newspapers they said that Donald's was beating Martha's in terms on viewers, and that Martha's Apprentice was a huge disappointment

I'm sure Donald sings all of his letters in size 18 font. Come on.... If Donald was going to verbaly biatch slap somebody he'd at least have the testicular fortitude to sign is own name.

Gee... I wonder if this has anything to do with Trump's next season of the Apprentice starting next week?!?!?!?!?

Think about it... now everyone is talking about this stupid note and now the name 'Trump' is back into people's minds... now that people are thinking about him they might tune into his show next week... this was done purely for ratings...

Thank how much is costs to advertise these days... a lot of money! But... if you do something that will make headlines it's virtually free advertising.

It's all for publicity, and it's a smart move, it will get more viewers watching the show for sure.
The fact that it was even mentioned here means that it's working.

Trump and Stewart should go head-to-head in a series of Apprentice-like projects. Team Donald could be Trump, Carolyn, and George, and Team Martha could be Stewart, Alexis, and that cigar-chomping hack. Let's see how these people like to be on the other side of the table in the board room.

Screw Donald and he will screw you harder. Look what Martha's getting

Trump is nothing more than a bully with money. That's how he makes money, to screw the other guy over just so he gets all the profit in every deal.

Martha though, is probably da biggest phony around. So many people say she's such a biatch in real life, while she portrays this wholesome motherly image on tv. Yeah right.
