I am selling my 32" LG LCD television (model # 32LX1D) which I purchased from Gibson Sound and Vision in Waterloo, ON a month ago.

This set has a plethora of features: XD technology, S-IPS technology, HDMI input, VGA input, (2) HD component inputs (1080i/720p), ATSC tuner, TV Guide built-in, 8-in-2 Memory Card Slot (CF, MD, MS, MS PRO, SD, MMC, SMC, XD), 3:2 pulldown correction, and many many more.

This TV is absolutely PERFECT.

After having this TV for one month, I have tested this TV with all its inputs and many many sources. I have calibrated this TV using the AVIA disc and the picture it produces is excellent. That is why I purchased this TV, because the quality of the picture is magnificent. Anyone that looks into purchasing a LCD tv has probably found out that they don't handle SD (standard definition) content very well, this 32LX1D model /w XD technology does it better than even the Sony XBR series. Also, with S-IPS techonlogy the viewing angle very large which makes it perfect for wall-mounting. And how can I forget, 5th generation ATSC tuner /w TV guide built-in (who needs Rogers when you have this); obviously you will need a failry good antenna to receive HD channels but this tuner is one of the best on the market (next to Samsung).

Amazing, amazing unit.

I purchased this unit for $2399.99+tax from Gibson Sound and Vision in Waterloo. This unit also sells for $2399.99+tax at Henrys (link (http://www.henrys.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/PageDisplay?dest=frames.jsp&currency=CAD&storeId=10001)). This unit cannot be purchased at Future Shop or Best Buy and is very exclusive to only a few retail store chains.

My unit has 0 dead/stuck pixels, it is calibrated and functions with every input that the unit has (HDMI, VGA, Component 1, Component 2, Video 1, Video 2, S-Video). It has been tested with many sources (Scientific Atlanta 8300HD STB, XBOX 360, Progressive Scan DVD player, XBOX original, and more). This unit is PERFECT. I would NOT be selling this TV at all, but the wife says its too small in the living room of our new house. :( My first choice was to return it to Gibson (which I tried last week) only to find out that they would charge me a 25% re-stocking fee! Hence, my second choice:

I want to tell people that this is no Sceptre, Daytek, Prima, Digimate, or even Toshiba. Even the Panasonic LCDs do not compare to this unit. Next to the Philips LCD units, this is one of the highest rated LCD panels out there.

The only source you can get 1080p on is a video card in a computer with HDCP, and i'm not sure if Nvidia or ATI have any out yet for retail. No other sources support 1080p yet.

I remember I bought something a while ago, and then I didn't need it anymore either and the store said that they'd charge me a 25% restocking fee. I was able to bargain with them and they agreed to let me pay a 10% restocking fee instead. You should try this...even if you can bring it down to 15%, you'll still end up getting $2400 back since you'll get the 15% tax back when you return it also.

Now that I think about it, even WITH the 25% fee, you'll still be getting $2160 back...just $40 shy of your asking price. With the rapidly falling costs of LCD tvs, this might be your best bet, as you might find that in just a month the value has decreased by a few more hundred.
