completely parallel? you mean a flat bed? only some airlines have them, CX, AC (YYZ-HKG non-stop only), SQ.

for a paid J/C ticket, that's what it costs on the majors. it's a bit cheaper on KE.... $4278. if she *must* fly in business and you/she have lots of FF miles, this is the time to redeem them.

i was planning to go back home too and my cousin works at travel agency and she qouted the prices for me for the month of May... and the prices should be around $1500 (roundtrip) for Cathay Pacific, Korean Air and Air Canada Airlines... But starting May 26 prices will go up quick so maybe we should go buy tickets now b4 its too late ;)

CX and SQ. if you're really going to pay for J, I highly recommend SQ. Although it's not the true business class experience, I've heard that Philippine Airlines might have some cheaper fares in business.

AC offers truly flatbed on its Toronto-Hong Kong route (A340-500)

I'd imagine Singapore Airlines would have true flatbeds on it's trans-pacific flights (i.e. San Fran - HKG - Singapore); but not on its Singapore - Manila flight

AC's lie flat seat reclines 180 degrees, but it lies at an angle. Also, the 345 has gone mechanical and substituted with a 343 many times that I wouldn't choose them if you really want to be guaranteed a flat bed.
