Wait until your neighbours throw away their old computer on garbage day. Why do you need them?

So I can connect earphones to the front of my computer instead of the back. Much more convenient!

theres HUNDREDS of 2.5 and and 3.5 faceplates for PC case which have line in,mic, headphone out, speaker out, some even have a roatory volume adjustment knob too. they are not compatible with all sound cards though, so check places like tompken computers, or canada computers or tiger direct.ca

I have checked, either they don't have it or I have no idea what it is called. I also don't want the 2.5 or 3.5 bay. Just the wires that connect to the motherboard to my headphones.(No need for a whole set, when I just need the wires)

Quite interesting but it seems that the ones they have are designed specifically for their product, they are quite expensive, and I also don't like and can't deal online , any other that are really cheap and/or local?

Since you don't want a faceplate Why not just buy a 3 ft extension plug? Plug it into the back of your computer and then run it to wherever you want. Yes you really can buy this item, costs like $4.99.

Are you planning to drill holes in your case to mount these or do you plan to just leave them hanging? If the latter, just run an extension from the back.

I had the same problem...I opted for a set of (cheaper)speakers with a headphone jack. probably the easiest option if you dont have decent speakers. You can also get a switch from TheSourceCC 19.99 (http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/Product.aspx?language=en-CA&catalog=Online&category=ComputerSpeakers&product=2616387) There's also cheaper one for 9.99

Well actually, my case already has pre-made holes in the front for headphones and USB.(USB installed when I got the computer, but not audio)
I want to connect to my motherboard so not only will it be in the front and more convenient, I have more audio outputs.

Cases don't just come with holes. They come with the inputs on the front with the wiring required to plug into your mobo.

If that is the case, then when I bought my computer, the store must have taken the wires!! :(
Oh well, either way I will need the wires!
