So there seems to be a craze with Altoids Tins and using them as cases for different electronics. You can make a nice little case for your Zen Micro out of one of these and with the round tins, Sony UMDs fit in there quite nicely. What other creative things have people done with these tins?

And not only an altoid tin, but a humongous spring, some large paper clips, straps, rubberbands. We could be looking at the next red green...

grab an old joystick and strap a board onto it, heh.
heck, I used to use one joystick for a handbrake, one as a shifter (with the springs taken out), and a set of wheel and pedals.

I just use my old FERRARI steering wheels pedals as a clutch, works pretty well, and the the quality of the ferrari name just makes you go that much faster...

I've modded an Altoids tin for use as an iPod shuffle case.
Works very well.

I use it to store compact flash cards. Put it inside a condom and it's a waterproof case.

My friend made an iPod nano case out of an Altoids tin. He drilled a hole for the headphone connection and added some padding.
I use mine to store TTC tokens.

Eh... it was ok.... a little rough because it has these little specs on it that kinda stick out. Definitely an experience though.
