FS: 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Coupe (STi Swaped)

Thats right, its for sale. I love it to death, but its just not logical to own it right now (School and such). I will let it go if the price is right.

Car is a 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Coupe. The body has 130,000km on it and the heads, trans, etc... should have just about 60,000km on it (The car has a newer JDM STi Version 8 Block now, just installed 2 weeks ago, has 18,000KM on it). The swap was completed mid october (2005) and has not really been driven that much. I bought this car from its original owner in late may of 2005, and the car had been babied. Unfortunatly, it generated a rod knock during the summer (not sure why), so a swap was in order. This is an amazing car, done by planet motorsports. The engine looks completely at home in the engine bay.

I also have 2004 STi Silver BBS's Wrapped in Pirelli P7000 performance tires (almost brand new), which I will throw in for an extra $1000

The car just got back from Planet about 2 weeks ago. The car now has the JDM STi Version 8 Block with 18k on it, a new oil pump, a new GReddy timing belt, and boy does it ever pull hard.

Swapping the engine in the RS chassis is the only way to get an STI coupe.

What I mean is that I need proof that someone really is interested before I let them drive it. I have had people beat the crap out of my old car when I was trying to sell it, then they never called me back agian.

Thanks, If only I had a digital SLR. These pics were taken with my friends 5mp point and shoot. Picture was taken at 8:30pm so exposure played a big part as well.

You can still see some red paint at the base of intake manifold... ver4 is like from 98~99... 6+ years.. paint peeling...not surprised..

Thank you, the car does sound very nice. When that video was taken it was on a stock catted downpipe and Borla 2.5" Catback. Now the car is running a full 3" Catless turboback with a 4" Bellmouth down pipe. It sounds so mean, yet really isnt that "loud". Just gives off a perfect boxer rumble.

Actually, the oem 2.5RS coupe wing is STi. JDM Ver4 STi uses the same wing. I'm not as much into looks as I am performance. Here are the most recent pics, taken yesterday (sorry, its a bit dirty):
