I lived in the city for a year, and when i've gone back to visit, I always stay in the Hampton Inn... its right near the bridge, and its a quality place.

When I was in Windsor last September, I paid $50 USD per night at the Holiday Inn located right down the street from Ambassador Bridge.

i stayed at the comfort inn on huron-church (the road that takes you to the bridge) 80 cnd per nite. the best thing about that place there is a golden griddle in the hotel.

I like here. Hampton or Holidy Inn express both on Huron Church (near the bridge, 5 min from downtown) are your best bets - new, clean, good location.

if you don't mind, there are motels beside the mainstream hotels...
those are really cheap...
