Steve Martin is also a diva.
He walks around thinking he's some sort of creative genius. I know a few folks that met him and he's stand-offish in real life.

The movie look like complete garbage. Plus Beyonce + Movie = Dogshit and this equation has yet to be disproven.

Go to a video store and rent the classic Panther flicks... better servered contributing money to something worthwhile.

I'm planning to check it out, albeit probably not on opening night.

The trailers were awful, and Beyonce could not act if her life depended on it, but both Martin and Reno have done things I liked in the past. Of course both have been in awful movies as well.

Still, Martin cowrote the screenplay so I'm willing to give it a chance.

Ratings for this movie haven't been so good...also it doesn't look too appealing. I'm sure the parts shown in the trailer/commercials are the funniest parts (and they aren't even that funny to begin with!) of the film.

What is it with hip hop folks and acting (not to mention big oafs like Shaq)?

Mos Def is the only one even near good/natural enough at acting.
Everyone else has sucked so bad with their inability to act/overacting.

This movie better hope there are enough Beyonce fans out there.
With Big Momma 2 making that much cash for such a beneath crappy movie, sigh, I think Puke Panther make enough to warrant a sequel :(

It has the worst trailer that I have seen in a long, long time. I'm a fan of Steve Martin, but I'm guessing he made a deal with the studio to star in a few crappy family movies like Cheaper By The Dozen 2 and this one, in exchange for being able to get his own artsy movies like Shopgirl made.

I agree with the previous poster; Beyonce is a horrendous actor and I definitely wouldn't pay to go see this.

I DO like Steve Martin though.. ahh well.

i might....the original Pink Panther movies were great...so if the writing is similar, then it mught be ok.

I went to see it and I thought it was pretty funny. Certain scenes were outlandish, but I guess that's the charm of it.:lol: Martin also did the Screenplay. It's not the original, but it's certainly worth a look.
