Costco (Ottawa West) Epson CX6800 all in one printer (print, scan, copy but no fax with individual color cartridges) for $89.99 +taxes and there is a $20 rebate on top of that bringing the final tally to $83.84. I don't know when the sale ends (if its a sale), but the rebate must be post-marked by March 1st.
Sorry I am on drugs...I just got the correct model number by actually going out the car and checking the box. Thanks for the feedback.

So is it hot or not?
I own this printer paid $96 some odd dollars last time with mail in rebate from Costco. SO THIS IS A GOOD PRICE for this all in one (with no fax).
Scanner is of good quality, the paper feeder likes to jam on cardboard type paper (what doesn't) and the photo quality is good.
Ink can be refilled at Ink Island (no protection on cartridges) for cheap.
EDIT: Noticed a typo in the topic, it's the CX6600 folks! There is no CX6800 model.

Are you sure the model is CX6800 as I couldn't find it in Epson.ca and USA!

Or does it mean that the generic cartridge does not have protection? Or does it mean you don't have to go through the protection bypass as Island Inkjet can do it for you when they refill your cartridge?

Example: Ink Island charges an arm and a leg to remove protection on Lexmark cartridges so they can refill it.
This printer has none so it's just "poke a hole" and fill for cheap.

Hmmm. How cheap is cheap? I've never done re-fills before, so I'm wondering if this will be worth it for me. Thanks.

$11 for the "big" black cartridge (plus tax).
I usually refill twice, then buy a new cartridge from Costco and refill that twice...repeat :)

Thanks for the feedback.Warden and Ellesmere location also has it in stock for $89.99+ taxes and the rebate must be post-marked by March 31st, not March 1st. I bought it because my HP PSC 750 printer (bought in 2002) need both cartridges replaced (at least $70 for #15 & #78). Might as well spend a few extra bucks on a new printer instead. Are there any other "hot" deals for all-in-one printers? This is the best one I can find right now.

Now that I did a bit more research I think I can warm up this deal:
Printer
Costco: $89.99
Future Shop: $99.99
PM 110%: ($1.00)
Total for printer: $88.99
Additional Color Cartridge:
Staples: $49.92 http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?CatIds=&webid=621624&affixedcode=WW
Future Shop: $59.99 http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10066881&logon=&langid=EN
PM 110%: ($1.01)
Total for cartridge (cyan, magenta, yellow): $48.91
If you purchase online at Future Shop, you get additional 10% off on ink with purchase of a printer. So:
Printer: $88.99
Ink Cartridges: $48.91
10% off Ink Cartridge: ($4.89)
Sub-Total: $133.01
Now you get an additional $25.00 rebate from Epson for purchasing both the cartridge value pack and the printer together. Also, you get $20 mail-in rebate for the printer itself. So:
Sub-Total: $133.01
Taxes: $9.31 GST + PST (if applicable)
Less: Printer/Ink combo mail-in rebate: ($25.00)
Less: Printer mail-in rebate: ($20.00)
Total: $97.32
So for another $23.00 or so, you get another set of genuine Epson colour ink cartridges and temporarily avoid the hassle of refilling and resetting the cartridge, which I believe applies for these inks.
And at least at Future Shop you can use a credit card to give you more perks (depending on the card) whereas in Costco, you can only pay in cash.
Now the question is, is it easy to PM Costco and get 110% PM from Future Shop online?

I bought from them for my old Epson 400. Good quality. Stuff is not refilled. It's a non-oem brand new cartridge.
