HMV: LOTR Extended Editions, $20 each

Was just at HMV at the Eaton Centre and noticed that all 3 of the Lord of the Rings 4-DVD extended editions have once again dropped in price from $29.99 to $19.99 for each. Great for those who need any one of the movies to complete the trilogy.

Great find. Had one of the sets. I was thinking about the FS or bestbuy trilogy sets (which was another great find) but This fits the bill.

No, this is the HMV in the basement of Eaton Centre right across from the Gap, not sure if the one on Yonge street has it.

Speaking of HMV, I noticed they also added some new DVD's to the 2 for $30 deal, specifically an assortment of Superbit titles. First time HMV has put the Superbits on sale.

There's several copies of each at the downtown Vancouver HMV (@19.99). Didn't see the boxset though.

Back from purchasing ROTK EE for $20. There are massive amounts of each of the three movies on sale at the large HMV located just north of Yonge and Dundas. :)

But the question now is, do the ones at HMV come with the trilogy slipcase? If not then off to FS I go. I've already got all three EE movies; I'd like to have the slipcase. The plan is of course to pass on my existing set to my brother.

When I opened my ROTK package, there was a coupon to get the slip case. You'd have to send away for it and pay $4 though, this is good for those who already has all 3 sets.

ahh.. on Jan 24 I paid $29.99 for each of these. I called HMV and they said I could get the difference back, even when I opened and watched the dvds. Hooray!

If you bought anything from HMV during the Christmas or Boxing day time, then they hay have given you a coupon booklet... I kept mine, luckily enough, so I can get $5 off $50, $10 off $75, $15 off $100, or $25 off $150.

Dig through those old piles of coupons, you might have them sitting around.
