"Scarlett will grace the cover of the March 2006 issue of Vanity Fair magazine. She will be featured in the annual Hollywood photo portfolio for third time in a row. Apparently this will be a nude in a group portrait of Hollywood’s "beauties-of-the-moment", including Scarlett, Keira Knightly and Rachel McAdams and was shot by Tom Ford in November 2005. Also, Yahoo! News reports that Scarlett will receive a $4 million paycheck for being the new face of L'Oreal's HIP hair colour range. "It's wonderful to be working with L'Oreal, a company that has celebrated independent women for years. I'm very excited to be part of this campaign which is modern and fashion forward," Scarlett said."

"We didn't force anyone to take off their clothes," insists Ford. "In a couple of instances we had to ask them to put them back on! I've always said, and I mean it, that I find people better-looking without clothes than with clothes. I also did not want the portfolio to be about fashion, but rather to try to bring out some side of each subject's character," says the man who turned Gucci into a luxury powerhouse.

"There are two Hollywoods," says Ford, "the real-life Hollywood, where people go to work and do their jobs, and the mythical Hollywood, which is defined by the films and images you've seen." The portfolio addresses the latter, says Ford."

Hmmm, that is supposed to be "tasteful"? That has to be one of the ugliest covers I have ever seen for a magazine. They both look so...so...ick. Both actresses actually look sick or something. I would rather have seen them fully clothed in some famous designer dress or gown. Step it up, ladies!
