Prices are ok. Cheaper than Future Shop and Best Buy, but still a lot more than other places.

I ordered off these guys on Friday and got a shipping number yesterday, maybe there are cheaper places but nobody's posted any! I could pay more and get fewer stations at Best Buy/Future shop... what's with the CRTC denying us our freedom to choose?

Visited the store today and bought a Streamer GT. Best selection and prices I have seen on both XM and Sirius units. Very knowledgeable, and willing to share that information with customers. For anyone looking for a unit, or just information this is the place to go. Will definately buy more from this store.

Are these Canadian radios or US ones? ie. US radios that work with a US subscription.

For XM units, both US and CA hardware are identical.

So, what your're saying is that your Canadian bought XM radio can be activate in USA and vise versa? Because, techincally, that's against the CRTC rules.

This is what people are doing who dont want to listen to this crappy Canadian content, they are buying US radios IN THE USA and getting a US subscription and using the radio in Canada.

Our units all come of US distributors and can be activated on either network.

That's awesome! I like to listen to Howard Stern and his 101 station that does a recap et al of his show. That's not available in Canada, and no offense to the french, I don't want the french line-up so I want to go with the US feed.

What's holding me back is that I want a true decent quality portable unit that I can listen live at the beach. I dont want to listen to prerecorded shows, I also want it to have an ipod type interface so that I can hook it up to my Mazda3 through either a PAC adapter or auxmod. Furthermore, I also want it to be able to use it in friends' cars too....I want a truly portable unit. The SIRIUS S50 does not receive live broadcasts in portable mode. I Can't see the logic in that!

I agree 100%. XM is truly ahead in that area of hardware, but keep your eyes open for Sirius portable units coming out that will be able to receive in and record in portable mode.

The S50Portable. Look out for the two new XM units with portable and mp3s. They look great.

I have heard the exact same thing. Seems like the XM portable units were put on the market without extensive testing and are still very buggy.

Apparently Sirius is perfecting their portable unit before releasing them to the public as to avoid and complaints and RMA's.

Only a small part of XMs XM2Go radios are buggy. Most are perfectly fine. Sirius STILL doesnt have a portable radio with live reception. So far its 1y, about 3 months and counting late. XMs new Helix and Inno radios are great. They are small and compact.

The XM2GO units work fantastic in our area (Mississauga Ontario). In portable mode the Delphi MyFi picks up full signal without even connect the portable antenna. We have not seen or heard of any signal issues from
any of our clients.

That doesnt suprise me one bit, I regularly use the MyFi in the Oakville Sports Dome when my daughter is playing soccer. It works perfect without the antenna inside the building (I am sure this is not the case everywhere).

I talked today one of the guys at London Drugs today and he said the same thing; however, they haven't sold much and right now there are not enough buyers of the portable unit to get a good idea. He suggests to be patient and just wait a while.

They dont sell many and wont because the price they are asking for it is way to high!
The Big Box stores are trying to sell the MyFi for $399.99
We sell the MyFi for $279.99

I think it will be a long time before they sell enough to get any decent feedback.

Got the cheap Sirius unit from these guys and signed up with U.S. distributor, and what is the CRTC gonna do to me? what have they done to anybody signing up with the U.S. Sirius...nothing......will upgrade my unit as it works o.k. but kinda crappy compared to other units. Gonna drop by their retail store to see if they can give me a credit for returning the crappy unit, doesn't matter though as it was only $40, antenna is 19 ft long!!!

The CRTC is going to subpoena Redflags.com and have them give up your personal information including IP address. Then, one day in the middle of the night when you're sleeping and when you least suspect it, they're going to break into your home and take you away.
