name of your favorite song with a very good beat.

i dont know if a lot of you people collect instrumentals. I do. sometimes i just download and listen to them, very chilling.

So here are some songs with excelent beat.

Break yo neck by Busta Rhymes
#1 Stunna by Big Tymers (really good beat)
Get Your Freak On by Missy Elliot
Hotel California by the Eagles (reallly like the drums)
Loose youreself by Eminem
Simon Says by Pharoahe Monch
Throw it up by Lil John
Still Tippin by Mike Jones
Pov City Anthem by Cadillac Tah
Beat It Up by Big Tymers
The Showdown by Dr.Dre ft Eminem
Till i Collapse by Eminem

will post more later.
if you want to download just the beats for those songs put the name of the song and put instrumental beside it.

So now post some of your songs.
include the name of the song and the singer.

Couple of massive attack songs have already been mentioned, but I'll add Angel and Risingson. Two very unsettling but awesome songs.

Also Bachelorette by Bjork. Sure all these songs have vocals but so do many of the other songs ppl mentioned.

I don't know about you, but I really like Daft Punk's - Robot Rock and my fav track from them was "Around The World" lol, nice vocoder effects. Made the song cool!

Also check out the instrumental of "Grindin'" by Clipse. Love that song, best song of 2001, 2000 (around there somewhere).

Also D-12, Purple Pills.

Man I gotta get Still Tippin' nice bass in that song.

Also, I also like the beat in JayZ's "Public Service Announcement"

My List:

Three - Six Mafia : Sipping on some syrup (this has a nice beat too)
Ice Cube - Today was a good Day
Nelly - Number One
Chamillionaire ft. Lil' Flip - Turn it up
Gwen Stefani - Luxurious (Remix)

That's about it lol, puny I know, you can find the instrumentals for most of these songs.

Don't those songs have rap overtop?

anyhow... I am really getting in to Boards of Canada and DJ Shadow. Everytime I relisten to shadow, it blows me away.

John Petrucci - Damage Control
Andromeda - Morphing Into Nothing
Dream Theater - Overture 1928
King Crimson - Larks' Tongues In Aspic Part Two

They may not have the beats you're looking for but they are all still killer "instrumentals".
