Both Chinatowns have make shift huts that sell cards for face value with no tax.

Locations;
On Gearrard St. East of Brodview Ave. - in front of restuarant
North East corner of Spadina Ave. and Dundas St. has two place beside RBC
Pacific Mall 2nd Floor has another place that sell LD cards amongst other mobile provider cards (charge $10.50 for a $10 card if I remeber correctly)

Example $10 card sell for $10 no taxes and not $11.50 in retail outlets

Hope this info helps you.

no tax is a good idea

i work for a telus dealership in coquitlam centre (vancouver) and the cost on those things (let's say for a $10) = 9.83 or something. The most i can do for you is get them at cost + tax, but that would be more than that other face value savings. Our employee purchase program at cartunes is actually cost + tax. If you're willing to pickup alot of them i can do it, but there's no point of getting 1 or 2. I can also print fido + rogers wireless.
