Rant: People & Elevators

Alright so i have been noticing this alot lately.
I live in a building and whenever im in the elevator, and get off on my desitination, theyre is someone who ALWAYS hits me trying to get in! :mad: Why do people always assume no one is going to come out of the elevator. And then they wont let you come out, they try and push past you while your exiting to get as if the elevator is going to shut the door itself and never return.
And another thing....whats with people not apoligizing when they hit you. I even apologize when they hit me! :| I should stiffen up my sholder and knock over the next person who does this...
Am i going crazy or has anyone else notcied this as well? :confused: :confused: :confused:

This also happens on subway trains. I usually just stand there until the person moves out of the way. I'm in no rush. :lol:

Elevator story time!

In the elevator in my building, theres almost never anyone using it. There are only a couple other apts on my floor so when Im going down, usually I just stand in front of the door, and when it starts opening, I walk in (I mean... what are the chances of someone coming up at the same time Im going down.. when theres only 3 other people on the floor?).

Well the other day theres this lady and I scared the CRAP out of her. I started to walk in as she was walking out (we both started to walk before the door was fully opened). And I was sort of looking at my feet when i was doing it (Im fairly tall, and she was pretty short). So as soon as the door fully opens, Im already staring her in the face from like an inch away.

I think she yelped loud enough for the entire building to hear :D

And then she walks away muttering "oh my god.. oh my god.." holding her chest.

Hold out a pair of scissors in front of you for a couple days...that'll stop them :D

i get this all the time..just like when getting off the bus ppl trying to get on..wtf?!!

i make it hard for them to try and sneek by me by clearly making it impossible for them to walk by...they usually get the picture..

givem an inch and they take a mile..

HAHA see that happens to me alot as well.. Ill be reading the mail on my way to the car and as im walking out ill have someone jump onto the elevator and scare the daylights outta me, as i havent even looked up yet.... >:( lol used to it, as im a 'jumpy' person

hahaha if you don't have scissors handy, just walk out swinging your elbows. Once you catch someone with your elbow, they will learn.

next time just hold your hand straight out as you walk out, so you push them out of the way automatically

When the doors start opening ... start shaking and drooling uncontrollably ... you will find they will give you a wide berth and won't run into you anymore.
