Why not just make a section for homophobes? Probably be easier and smaller than sections for gays or gay wannabes.

As this is a Deals site, not a sex site...and homosexuality is about sex not Deals, I dont see the relevance of an areafor it, nor do I think it would be used appropriately here. Off topic gets abused enough as it is. So I vote no (not that its a democracy either).
Plenty of gay sites on the web that can be used for discussing gay issues better than they would be here.
I'm sure as B40 comes further out of the closet, he can provide a list of a few of them. :lol:

When I went to University there was this student resource room, that had a big title, called Gay Lesbian and Bi Resource Centre. And they would pass out little fliers for G.B.L events.

At first I didnt know what G.L.B meant, I thought it was like B.Y.O.B., maybe they kind of are the same...:)

Well there's a long history of people being gay, so I think you're wrong.. we did get where we are today by being both gay and straight. Heck even the Bible talks about homosexuality, so theres more proof of it's long history.

I disagree with preventing gay couples from adopting though, I think they often times make much better parents than straight (not necessarily straight adopting parents, just parents).

If two punk kids with no futures, education or bit of common sense are allowed to make kids and raise them, then an educated gay couple with good common sense and futures should definitely be allowed to adopt.

Again, another bad idea. We don't know what makes people gay. We shouldn't put the children in a gay environment because they'll think being gay is right*.

*I'm going to put the disclaimer here 'cause I know a bunch of people will start bitching. When I say right, I mean being straight is the primary objective of a human being; namely to pass on their genes (if they are have enough attractive attributes to mate). Being gay is an alternative. You can live that way, I don't care, but don't destroy the human race by thinking gay > straight or else there were be no one else left.

Sorry, I can't agree with you whatsoever.

First, I believe common consensus is that gay is not a choice, you are born with a predisposition towards homosexuality. Therefore, since gay couples can't MAKE a child, the child must have been conceived from man+woman. Unfortunately that man+woman were so inept they could not raise it, which is where the gay couple come in.

Second, myself and my spouse do not plan to have our "own" children, so what is our "primary objective" of being human? We feel there are too many children who are unwanted in this world, and they deserve to have good parents more so than our selfish desire to pass on our sh1tty genes.

Maybe we should, and only have select numbers of people who are allowed to make children, under detailed obligations of parenting.

First, our world is over populated, second too many children have no parents, third too many children have BAD parents.

Being gay is what you are, it's not a choice. You can't be ungay, just like I can't BE gay. If gay was truely a choice, then nobody would be gay as it's not an easy lifestyle choice.
