um.. you have an E6 Venice 3500. why bother. my E3 Venice goes to 2.5 with low volts, 2.4 with stock.

And as everyone knows, cache size makes little difference (if any) in gaming and most other things on K8 platform. Just my humble opinion. Just look at the performance results from the E6 Sempron 64's. Best bang for buck i ever seen. Not worth the upgrade IMHO.

ps. on default voltage, i would expect your chip to do an easy 2.4-2.5. give it a try! :)

don't opties run a little hotter than venice/sandiego's?

venices run coolest. opti's use the san diego core. bigger cache = warmer

For everyone who asked...im selling because i want a chip i KNOW will handle fsb...when i said i didnt have time i meant it...i tried 220x11 and it didnt like me...so i backed off. $200 is pretty firm and a 146/148 is what i had in mind...if someone had a 175 they wanted to trade + cash id be receptive to that as well. Thanks for the bumps guys!!

up you go

have you tried setting your ram divider to 166 and ht to 3x? it's probably your ram that can't handle full speed

well...ive tried 220x11 with 2 different types of ram...running it @ 200mhz constant...and it hates me...so i dunno. Also w/ 4x HTT and it still wouldnt go....if you want to give me some tips you could add me to msn. The board its on is a Neo2 Platinum.

I was wondering, are there any services that are included if I were to purchase this item? Specifically I am looking for a hot guy to install it naked for me.....

Try to sell your chip 1st and I may sell my 146 to you later. Don't know how much it should be but not low price for sure. I intially tested it at 1.35V and 2700 Mhz and it was fine with stock heatsink and P95. Don't have good HSF to boot it up further for P95.
Good luck.

Hot and naked? Free service may be. Would you call the service guy later if you are having trouble again?
