Moving a bedroom set within Toronto

I only want to move a bedset from Thornhill to Yonge & Sheppard and then a box spring back to Thornhill. So far I've been quoted about $200. This seems excessive to me.

I don't trust U-Haul, and I would prefer to have someone with a van do the moving for me. Any time this week would be best.

do you have bedroom set that cost a few thousand?

if so i recommend you get professional movers with insurance that covers damages or pick up a buddy and buy him dinner etc and get the job done right by your own carefulness

my cousins hired some ppl in the ad to move, they werent expecting heavy real wood furniture and dinged it like hell and they didnt have insurance to cover damages

save a little now, spend alot later...< this motto sucks

spend more now and save yourself some headache later is better

rent a u-haul urself, get a buddy and do it
