My budget is around $1500. It can go up a bit higher if necessary.

Centrino Duo, dedicated ATI graphics, etc. Again, maybe not that specific model, but Centrino Duo is coming in February, and anyone buying a $1500 laptop in January will be kicking themselves for not waiting.
