It's still possible, even if people don't put their location in their profile.

Have the location as a drop down menu when signing up. Make it default to GTA (for that's where the majority of RFD members seem to live) or people can change it to whatever they want.
If they don't set it correctly, they may lose out on possible sales. It's their loss, nobody elses.

Maybe include all major cities in Canada and have the person choose the closest city. Perhaps any city with a population over 100k could be included on the list, although GTA and GVA could be their own locations.

I think they need some sort of sorting in the BST Forums. Would be awesome to see all the local sellers together.

Maybe in the extreme, make a BST - GTA, BST - GVA etc etc that way you can see what local sellers have to offer.
