technically, its correct, as the watts are rated per speaker

hence, 80 total (not to mention the 23-watt, 8-inch sub sitting on the floor. For those not familiar with the jargon, what this means is very large sound without cluttering up your desk. The response on these bad boys is 35Hz-20kHz—when turned up that will definitely wake the neighbors!)
