Achilles Tendonitis - anyone had this?

I've had achilles tendonitis for over a year now. My heel hurts at a scale of 8 of 10 everyday!

Anyone here had it before?

How did you get it to heal? I've tried anti-inflammatory, physio, acupuncture, chiropractic and none of these have helped! :(

I got tendinitis in my wrist from a repetitive physical job. The only way to heal it was to not use it for about two weeks and let it heal.

I believe you just have to stay off your (pained) foot for a few weeks. Achilles tendons are the worst ones when it comes to injuries, as they may literally take up to 6 months to heal. I've injured it before, had to quit a lot of sports for a while.

U try Cortisone injection? don't let ur GP do it though, go to an orthopedic surgeon.
