FS price matching is so annoying. I find that when you go there to price match they often have a reason why they can't. And if you read their PM policy online it basically gives them an out for every scenario.
Anyway... to your question... I bought an mp3 players a year and a half ago and it was cheaper at Canada Computer so I wanted to price match. FS told me they won't do it because they don't recognize Canada Computer as a retailer and gave me some garbage excuse about how they don't offer the same warranty. I argued that it is a manufacturers warranty so it doesn't matter what FS backs up/guarantees compared to CC. I talked to the manager of the area and even tried to go above her... and nothing changed... they still told me they wouldn't do it.
So I went to another FS and got the same ordeal. Then I went to my third and the guy said he had to check with his manager. I figured I was screwed again but when he came back he said that normally they won't do it but they will do it this time for me. So I guess I lucked out.
As for you... if you are prepared to go to a few stores then you may have better luck... but be prepared for them to say no. And please post again after you try and let everyone know if you were successful. Good luck!

Generally no but YMMV. I had this one time they won't even PM CompuSmart.
IMO FS PM is worse than Staples PM.

Why didn't you just pick them up at FS when they were on sale for $299?
RFD is full of some cheap people man.

i got futureshop to PM a palm tungsten. this is how i did it: i bought it first for $299.99. I returned it 5 minutes later telling them CC has it for $229.99. And then the guy offered to price match it. So i ended up paying $222.99 + tax. i guess thats one way to do it...

"i'd like to buy this gift card"---> pay for gift card, "now i'd like to pay for this item with the gift card", "now i want to return this"... LOL
i've always wanted to try this (but a gift card and then pay for the item with the gift card.

I did a similar thing today. Bought a vid card from them for $330 during boxing week, it was now $550 and BB was $300. Matched it to $275 after an hour of being there and going through 3 different CSRs.
At first the woman was going to match my $330 to BB's $300, but then I told her I wanted to return the card and repurchase it. She didn't say anything after that.
They eventually passed me on to some guy to punch in my order and he was going to skimp me on my 10%! He gave me the final price after tax just before he swiped me credit card and I asked him if it included the 10% (knowing quiet well it didn't) and he gave me a quiet "no" and took out his calculator.
Sheesh. It's like pulling hen's teeth trying to get a PM.
