anyone on this site ever bought or was offered MTS 2208 speakers from some guys in the back of their truck?
i was offered those speakers today and although i didnt buy any, i remembered their name and model, now that i try to look it up, i cant find any information, "MTS" doesnt even seem to have an official site, i wanted to find out the retail value

i was at a walmart one time in brampton and this guy offered me speakers from the back of his white cube van. if you search, it has happened tons of times, dont fall for it. glad you didnt buy them, usually the scam ranges from rocks in the box, to being juss crummy speakers.

Haha weird this happened to me too about a week before Christmas. First the guys stopped in the mall parking lot and asked some guy loading speakers into his car which brand they were. Then they said if he returned it, he could buy the ones they have for less which were better. He declined, then they drove up a bit and started asking me. If this is the oldest scam in the book then why do people still do it?
