Sympatico v.s. Rogers - Switching Over Back & Forth?

So my friend is with Rogers Internet right now and he was telling me how Sympatico is having this $25/month for the first 6 months deal. I was struck by him saying that he's gonna switch to Sympatico now and after the 6months ended, he will switch back to Rogers... I mean, can he do that??? :confused:

yes, even if there is a contract he can break it and pay a certain amount.

With both you now have to give 30 days notice.With that said you can go about it but both may catch on soon to this abuse and change there policys.

rogers and sympatico say you are new customer if you not with them for 3 month
you can go with promotion on company for 3 month then cancel and go on new promotion on other company for 3 month

Rogers will be changing there policy very soon.Where once you cancel you will remain on file for 5 months meaning you can not do the switching.

Thats only for internet/home phone.Due to abuse of there cable promos you will remain on file for 1 year.

No really i was not aware.If you would look again i said for internet/home phone it will be 5 mths.

i do this all the time.. Was with bell for 3mth @ $25, then over to primus for 5 mths @$20 now onto 3web for 3mths@ $10...Will most likely switch back to bell now for 6mths @$25 seeing how my 3web promo will expire soon....
