I just bought the DLink wireless media player today. I connected it to my TV using SVideo cable and analog audio cables. My TV has audio output cable connected to my audio receiver, so I can hear whatever using my HiFi.

My question being, I mainly use my wireless media player for Internet radio and is there a way that I can listen to it without turning on my TV? I know that I can manually switch the cables if I wanna watch movies/listen to music from that wireless player. DO you think I need to buy another receiver that has both audio and video inputs?

Thanks!

.Eric

You can split the audio cable from your media player to both your TV and hi-fi.

All you need is a piggyback cable like this:

Then you can connect the extra outputs to your hi-fi using a regular RCA stereo audio cable to another input (say tape-1 instead of whatever you are using right now for your TV)
