How about something that aims at a browser hi-Jack. SpywareGuard 2.2 (http://javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html) and SpywareBlaster 3.4 (http://javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html)

Hope it helps :)

Run Spybot S&D and post your hijackthis log.

Also, the MS AntiSpyware program is pretty good at removing some things that AAW and Spybot miss. It's a free download from MS.

Also, if you know the name of the spyware, try Googling it. Many of the more complex ones have uninstallers that people have written.

tried to install spybotS&D, freeze every time it unpacks stuff.

I got this ewido anti-malware program, so far it got rid of all the problems. Except my IE is kinda ruined, some sort of over buffer problem supposed to be fixed in SP2.. hm, maybe time for a re-install of IE.

Thanks guys, i'll definitely try that MS anti-spy thinging.

make sure your windows is up to date.

run spybot (since you cant unpack it, try opening it with winzip or winrar), then adaware, then microsoft antispyware.

*run your antivirus and see if your firewall is up to date.

after click start, run, type 'msconfig', click startup and see if there if the problem is loading at startup.

hi boot the pc system into safe mode
then install spybot and do the full scan of the system
make sure you download the new update of there web site

when in safe mode nothing can run so it should be able to delete it
and you can install the program this way

allso notice torrent spy if you got anything like a search engine
you downloaded for bit torrent it can contain spyware and alter
the security settings in windows
