Anitec is having a Boxing Day "Blowout Sale" (http://www.anitec.ca/boxingday_newsletter.html) online on the 26th-27th, and in store no the 27th.
The only thing that really caught my eye was the LG DVD-Burner, but depending on who actually makes it, the RAM may be a good deal also.

The Samsung 2000GB harddisk is at least cheaper than the $90 AMIR Maxtor 200GB from BB.............
Also, I was interested in the Acer LCD TV until I see its resolution is 800x600.......

Sorry, didn't notice that there was a different price in store.
They have the 7800GT at NCIX for 299 right now. 80 total in stock.

hmm these local stores like Anitec and NCIX have quite good prices for the 7800GT and the Hardddrives and DVD burners. but if u add tax to it, the hard drives and the DVD burners are the same price as the RFD BuySell forum, lol. The only good thing is the 7800GT video card, but obviously next year, prices will be dropping a lot so.. i guess.. no AWSOME deals this year... o well..

Good thing I jumped on the NCIX deal. Not only is it cheaper online (don't have to line up) it's the overclocked Copper version.

Has anyone noticed the fine print on the bottom of the online deals? No in-store pickup, ship out only... We'll have to pay for shipping, kinda kills some of the deals.

Top-line graphics cards are never hot deals. Give it a month and it'll be $100 cheaper.
I bought a 9700 Pro around when it first came out and frankly my love affair with graphics cards ended with it. I still use it to good effect but I'm disenchanted with the life cycle of these things, it's way too quick to keep dumping cash into them these days.

I was gonna buy the Samsung HD, but add shipping and it's almost the same price as NCIX. Bah... Not going to bother.

Oh, how did that happen??? I couldn't choose it, I didn't have that option. It's pointless now, the Anitec server just crashed. RFD has a habit of crashing servers...

The 7800GT will likely drop in price down to around $300-350, from the $400 range it's at now, but I don't foresee that happening until Spring, at the earliest. Sure, I could have waited for my 7800GT CO SE from NCIX, but for $299 now, why wait? Yes, I was the fourth bastard to buy one. :D
I've found Anitec tend to be arses and pricks, so I usually avoid shopping there these days. Whenever I need to, I just get NCIX to PM for me. I know Simon and Daniel at Broadway, so it works out well.
