There's a bug with our system on that product. Someone is looking into it, but it'll be an hour or two unfortunately.
Place your order now, then place another once the Opteron problem has been fixed, but select "pick up" as the delivery option, so you're not charged for additional shipping.
Then send us a ticket and we can consolidate your order for you next week when we're processing orders.
BTW - to the person that wanted to buy in-store, only parts with quantities available still on Boxing Day will be available for sale.
Items like the 7800GT CO SE (this one is the slower copper cooler version, and yes, it is a killer deal) won't last the next hour I'll bet.
Sorry for the inconvenience regarding the Opteron. :(
Season's Greetings to all from NCIX!

I just thought of something, assuming the UPC code is the same for the DI-524 wireless router from NCIX and FS/BB. . If i order another dlink di-524 from futureshop/bs, i can send in the $20 rebate with a copy of the receipt and then return one of router unopened to fs/bb for a full refund. so that's $29.99 + tax - $20 rebate. hmmm.. would that be unethical?

It's probably the best price at NCIX so far, but only by a dollar or 2. I got this at a previous sale for around $44 each, several months ago. My 2 chips work fine and run at duel channel, but I don't think these are recommended for OC'ing.

the 3 stores are listed, so you pick which one you want to go to. works for me.That only works if you have entered a B.C. address I think.. I tested this by changing my shipping address to a B.C. address.. once I did this all the "pick up" options then appear.. changed my address back to my real address in Ontario.. the options for pick up then all disappear. How do you add it to the cart?I don't know.. I still can't add it either.. just asking in advance so once the bug is fixed I'll know how to go about consolidating my orders to avoid any extra shipping charges.

Got the last 7800GT CO SE. Thanks!
crap. i knew i shouldnt have wasted my time at the Futureshop site. i should of checked out when I had the chance.
sweet deal to those that got in. apart from the measly 10mhz clock difference, what else is different in the CO SE than just the CO version??

holy #@$@ i finally did it.
as soon as the deal went live i put the 7800GT CO SE in my cart. after an hour went by i saw that the card went out of stock. CRAP! but it was still in my cart. so i went ahead and played around with my order trying to build my new PC (to replace my P3-933!). had excel opened and played with varying components all revolving around that 7800GT. 3 hrs later i finally placed my order and it appeard to go. deal captured! i'm pretty jazzed..this will be my first computer build. be prepared for tons of Qs in the computer forum :)
i got an x2 3800+, the vid, asus a8n-sli deluxe, and ocz 2x512 plat. el memory. i wanted the sonata2 but shipping would have been ~$40. instead i think i'll get it from CC on boxing day (4% off, add 15% tax and it comes out to nearly the same as getting it from ncix at current shipping rates).
screw the ps2/gamecube now! :)

Regular GT - 445 MHz GPU, 20 Pixel Pipelines, 400 MHz RAMDAC, Memory: 256 MB, 256 bit GDDR3, 1070 MHz (effective), 34.24 GB/s Memory Bandwidth
CO SE - 460 MHz GPU, 20 Pixel Pipelines, 400 MHz RAMDAC, Memory: 256 MB, 256 bit GDDR3, 1100 MHz (effective), 35.2 GB/s Memory Bandwidth
CO - 470 MHz GPU, 20 Pixel Pipelines, 400 MHz RAMDAC, Memory: 256 MB, 256 bit GDDR3, 1100 MHz (effective), 35.2 GB/s Memory Bandwidth
so yeah..10Mhz diff between the COs, and 15MHz more between the entry GT

wow...i'm angry :(
Okay, i have my shopping cart full, and its exactly at 18lbs, just enough for express shipping for $30. I notice that I could add my free half life 2 voucher, so I do that, then it takes away the express shipping option because the voucher is apparently 0.1lbs. now wtf, thats complete and utter BS! The voucher is a piece of paper like 5 inches wide and 2 inches tall. it probably doesnt even weigh 5 grams!!! I hope NCIX can let me get away with the $30 express shipping, even though my order exceeds the limit by .1 of a lb, which is inaccurate anyways.

In case people are wondering.... I asked to have the Maxell Plus series DVD-Rs added to the sale (I can say this now I think :P). I wanted to make sure people had a good archival disc option in the mix (better then Taiyo Yuden for bonding, which affects archival life span).

No, the DI-524 doesn't have bridge mode AFAIK. I had one before. My cheap $0.99 (AR) Gigafast wireless router has bridge mode (btw, on sale for $2.99 (AR) at BB), but it doesn't work quite as well with my adaptor (drops connection a few times an hour).
yeah, I noticed that too
btw, does this router have bridge mode... tried searching in google, but didn't come up with anything

I personally like the TY I know quite a few people that bought them and been quite pleased however you prolly want to wait for a couple more opinions if I was going to put together an order I might however the shipping weight makes it more expensive than if I just order them with one of my larger orders so I get the free shipping

I'd rather try my luck from FF&BB with the Maxell -/+ disc they got on sale now for $25.(free shipping too) If they aren't MiJ, I can always return it with no hassle. If they are, great deal since the quality is as good and personally I prefer branded since it's easier to write on. By the way, no one mentioned the Verbatim dual layer +R?! $30 for 10 is great price. I'm glad I didn't order them last week when it's $35(which is still $5 cheaper than what I paid for my first spindle...) Now tempted to get another one.
By the way, not only the stuff from the top section are good deal. Like one of the poster mentioned, 100 paper sleeves for 99 cents is pretty good. Very handy when you want to hand out stuff to your friends and stuff.

NCIX.com
Dec 25th, 2005, 12:22 PM
I just tried it in my store I think you can still get the price however I dont know if they will honor it but you can always try
We will not honour any beyond the first 50 pieces that were sold. Please don't try this as you won't get it at that price. We'd actually love to sell them all week long, but 50 is all that could be allocated for Boxing Week.
We are expecting additional shipments at some point, but we expect very limited supply for at least 3 to 4 months.
Old pre-orders and backorders should be cleared up as well sometime next week. Unfortunately for those who submitted orders a long time ago, these literally arrived as one of the last shipments on Friday, so we had no chance to process or ship anything out.

It's been a while. YOu need to have a very good motherboard to do the OC. I still have an Abit BH6. Awesome board! You need a very stable MB and the "right CPU". Some CPU's are NOT OC'able and others are, the same with the MB.You have to do a lot of homework to see what you got and what others have done/speeds they have achieved.
In a nutsheel and to be safe, keep the FSB setting the same and adjust the multiplier one setting or two at a time. You may have to adjust the voltage to make things stable, but I wouldn't. If that's the situation, don't OC.
The best thing to do is hang around your motherboard's manufacturer's newsgroups and lurk there. Search old posts. Remember, anytime you OC you risk frying your board and/or CPU. Manufacturers in "essence" sell you OC'ed chips but are tested to work and guaranteed to be stable at a given speed.
Remember, if don't feel confident and donr want to risk trashing your MB and CPU, don't OC.

Well I've read up on it more and it seems as the ASUS is a nice, stable board that is good for noob overclockers since it has the basic features down pat, although the DFI has a TON more features for overclocking, its for more experienced overclockers.

And on that note, when I asked earlier about whether or not it could support over 200 GB drives, NCIX actually went and tested it themselves and said it did. It's been having a few problems though with other people's drives, so maybe just read about it on the forums in the product page if you're thinking about buying it to see what could happen.
