I got first one one year ago. It works great with my 3th generation Ipod. Even you can use it as computer avdio output. For 4th and 5th gen. Ipod,I really do not know.

you're not a fan of music but you own an ipod? what do you use it for? podcasts?

I'd stick with something that works with an ipod natively ..if you buy the sony mini(s) you'll still need an adaptor, plus some way of keeping the battery charged like a dock or an ac adaptor ..even then there's no way of controlling your ipod from the stereo's remote so you may have to buy a seperate remote ...my suggestion is that you eaither buy the logictech or go with something a little more expensive that does everything you need it to do. Personally I'd get the Altec Lansing or the Bose ipod speakers or the Tivoli Ipal ..pricey but once you factor in the remote, adaptors and charging dock ..another option is if you buy an apple universal dock (comes with all adaptors) and an apple ipod remote and hook it up to any stereo and there's no compromise in sound

What's the price on the Bose Ipod Speaker or Tivoli Ipal? Are they available readily in Canada (BB/FS)?

The question you ask me bothers me.And also your talking way bothers me .Specially the first one. The thing is you are not a huge fan of music, but you can "listen" some music ,right? So,this is the way it goes, right?
I think we should stop here. I can not catch your point,so do you.

well the bose is high end so ranges from $299 and up ..in fact there's an ad banner on this page..you can buy it at FS/BB. The Tivoli Ipal you can get at Bay Bloor Radio, Apple website and some computer stores. The Altec Lansing (best mid range brand) you can buy at BB/FS ...also check out the JBL system it's comparable to the altec system at about the same price ...here's a link to most of the speakers I've mentioned:

you need to rethink your attitude ..In no way was I meaning to be offensive. You saw something that wasnt there. let it go.

I have no idea what that means ..I asked a simple question I wasnt expecting the 5th degree

Have you considered an FM Transmitter? (Assuming you have a radio in your bedroom)

The Nexxtech usb fm transmitter (http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/Product.aspx?language=en-CA&catalog=Online&category=Notebook+Accessories&product=2610510) (from the Source) is very good. You can use it for your ipod, as well as transmitting audio from your computer to any radio in the house. It's not going to give you CD quality, bu it will give nice fm quality sound.

What is 5th degree? I said that before ?I said i am not huge fan of music I mean someone has a high standard for music qulity. They even have some sort of "golden" ears. I am not that kind of person. I only said 5th gen. Ipod, this one I mean Ipod Nano and latest Ipod. What did make your getting a "5th degree"? Now you begin question me why I got a Ipod. So the whole thing bothers me,understand ?
