Hey,
I was really looking forward to upgrading my video card from a.....erhm............Radeon 7000 on my comp lol. My comp takes AGP, but there don't seem to be many good deals out there if anyone can happen to point out anything?
I was hoping for something better than BFG 6600 GT?
*Sigh*....lol :(

Here in Calgary you can get the following good cards at oemdepot.com (might be worth ordering online - might save you tax):
Sapphire X1800XL - $399
eVGA 7800GT - $369
I am wishing that I had PEG right now.

Ooops - I just saw the AGP part in your post.
Why not get the $350 AIW X800XL? The $299 X850XT was a good deal - it flashes to the PE version with 100% success.

my anicent comp only supports AGP 4x and not 8x
and of coz it don't have PCI-E slot
currently using the FX5200 video card
of coz i can't play any new games with it
well i can run doom 3 with low resoultion smoothly.
can somebody tell me is my comp still worth a video card upgrade?
was thinking of buying the FX5500 oc from FS at boxing day for 69.99.
it says it uses AGP 4x/8x...so i guess my comp will takes it?
with the FX5500 OC, will my comp able to handle newer games...such as BF2?
what's the best video card out there for my comp that only supports AGP 4x??
btw, my comp it's 2.4ghz P4, 1gb ram.
