Really want this all-in-one unit. I saw it advertised in a local flyer from a small retailer for $285 (with $100 mail in rebate) - but the store was sold out.

All the big guys (futureshop, Best buy, staples etc.) have the unit for $499!!!

I know that I can't ask for a price match because the small store doesn't have any in stock - does anyone know where else they might be on sale?

I picked up this unit in the spring and I have to say so far it has been great. I shopped around a bit and the cheapest price I could get it for was $399 at BB.

Word of advice... Apparently, these multi-function units have a higher incidence of breakdown than regular printers and I read in more than a few places that an extended warranty is recommended. (I almost never get extended warranties, but in this case I did.)

I will wait a week and see what they go for on boxing week. I will also keep the extended warranty in mind.

I have a brother laser printer already and I have been pretty happy with it, so I hope this one is as good.
