Just saw this in-store this afternoon. All McFarlane toys are at least 33 % off.

I guess it's everywhere because on the website, there on sale from 33 % to 47 % off. Box set included.

Walmart at Kennedy and Shepard has McFarlane Hockey Legends series two for $3.96 each. There's Mike Bossy, Grant Fuhr in Oilers uniform, Gretzky in Kings and Oilers uniform.

square one walmart has them too,,,,i picked up a bossy and a fuhr,,,passed on the gretzkys since their in bargain bins everywhere,,,,is the mcfarlane deal at toys r us online only or in store too? i was there on friday and picked up a modano north stars variant which wasn't on sale(who cares it's close to 50 with the shipping on ebay) and a series one john leclair which rung in at 5.98 but didn't see any signs saying 33 to 47 off.

picked up the Oilers Gretzky @ Zellers for 2.97. Didn't price scan the Kings one, but may go back for it too... I'm assuming same price. The others seem to be all gone.

2.97??? oh man... i just bought the gretzky one for 3.86... oh well... still a good deal... they sold it for 40 bucks at the sports collectible store...

McFarlane toys are generally marketed towards the teens and older, and are collectors - who generally wouldn't spend like $15 regular price for a toy. Plus, there's not much marketing to promote it.

wow..great price.. Homehardware has most of series 1 and Legends series for $5.99 at the Parkway mall @ vicpark/yorkmills rd in north york...and a milder selection at their bridlewood mall location @ warden/finch ave in scarbs

makes a good side gift/stocking stuffer

They should have been in the same place as the Gretzkys. They're probably sold out. I picked mine up last Tuesday.

I check the Kennedy and Shepard Walmart periodically for these deals. They always seem to have them on sale where other Walmarts in Scarborough and Markham does not.

im a mcfarlane collecter and really want Gretzky Oilers.

Sadly..these are the old stock. For those of us that are Mcfarlane collectors, we are more interested in new stuff.

Mcfarlane really blew it this xmas...cuda made a lot with 2 different NHL Series he has been promising forever...NHL series 10 (due to legal/stike probs, Series 11 was already released), as well as the TEAM CANADA series.

There is some Series 10 around, but now Team Canada not till the new year...prob 2007.

If any of you manage to find any of the variant/chase figures at the prices, good on you!!!

If anyone finds a Fuhr in a Blue Oilers jersey and want to make a bit of a profit, please PM me.

I collect them but only players/poses I like and I open them up and enjoy them. I might stop by my local Wal-Mart and see if they have any of the Gretzkys or other ones I want.

i went to Zellers Centrepoint, got the gretzky for $2.95 (last one, it was hidden in the back of the shelf, had to search for it)..

then i went to the collectables store, they were selling it for $40... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

The Zellers at Dundas and Dixie in Mississauga had over 10 Kings Gretzkys, but no Oilers ones. I'm dying to find an Oiler one. I didn't see any at Square One.

By the way, Square One had a small sale sign saying that the Series 9 and Series 11 were $4.97. There was a big regular sign saying they were $12.99. However when I scanned them, they showed up as $9.99. Anyway, spoke to the clerk and they gave it to me for $4.97 So I picked up Brodeur and Sakic.

i bought a Kings Gretzky at Party Packagers ($7.99, for all series 9 and some series 11)...they were out of stock on Oilers Gretzky....

Zellers does have a pretty good McFarlane selection though... too bad the stores a pathetic dump

The Oilers Gretzky was in blue (Legends 2). I couldn't find the Legends 1 Oilers version. Saw tons of Legends 1 Kings Gretzky in Black but I already had one.

I'm pretty sure I saw some Redwings (Datsyuk for sure, maybe Yzerman) at one of the Mississauga locations. Like I said in my first post, Zellers Square One was selling the series 9 and 11 for $4.99. You could have gotten the Datsyuk for that price. Not sure if the sale is still on now though.
