Office Depot has the Creative MUVO TX FM 512 mp3 player for $99.99 .
I can't find it on the website but its on the first page of their flyer.
It 's a good deal for a Brand name player. Add the $20 off $100 VISA coupon from the coupon page of RFD, to make it an even better deal... http://visa.ca/business/0405ecoupon_office.cfm

You'll have to add a filler item to get it over $100...

This savings coupon is redeemable only at this participating merchant when paying in full with your VISA Business card. :( Would be a great deal otherwise.

I've used it with my regular VISA just recently, no problems at all.
There is also a $10 of $50 Coupon in the coupons section also...

If you really want it, keep calling the OD locations. I called all day Monday and Tuesday to here nothing but OOS, but then I called on Tuesday evening one of the locations to get their last one. I don't know how it came back in stock.

When you do find it it will be 99.99, buy a cheap item to get it over $100 to take advantage of the Visa $20 off coupon, and it comes with a $20 rebate in top of that. All in all it will be 60 bux plus taxes. Now that is HOT!

As far as PMing, I tried on Monday at FS. Silly whankers there weren't satisfied with just seeing the flyer and wanted to look online and could not find it. Then they called the closest OD and said no dice, they are OOS.

They have these in stock online in Calgary, but the price shows $139.99. Could this be a localized promotion or is it Canada-wide?

I called Office Depot and they said it isn't on sale...

If you read the very first post by masterc, there is a link to the $20 coupon. It is an Office Depot rebate sponsored by Visa.

Anyone know where I can find the flyer online. It isn't at flyermall.com or flyerpages.com...

As far as I know it is a manufacturer's rebate, at least that is what the sales associate I spoke with said.

Oops! I thought you were talking about the Visa discount.

I, too, would very much appreciate any info on where to locate this $20 off rebate. I can't find it on Staples site or Creative's...

The only $20US rebate I can find online is for purchases at Buy.com and beach(something-or-other).com. There's no general rebate that covers purchases in Canada or the US, as far as I can see...

Does anyone know of a rebate that would be valid on the Creative 512MB Muvo TX FM bought at officedepot.ca? If so, please supply a link to it. I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!!

I bought this MP3 player at Zellers two weeks ago when it was on sale. The flyer advertised a $20US mail in rebate as well, but no one at Zellers could locate the rebate form in store or on their computers. So I too would be grateful if anyone has more specific rebate info.

Which is better, the Creative Muvo or the Sandisk Sansa at Costco? Price per MB is approximately the same and each one is very similar in size and features. How is the audio quality and menu for these units?

creative is usually regarded as having the best sound and its much smaller than the sandisk. but the sandisk is expandable.

nope -- that's last year's model. the new Muvo TX FM just arrived this summer and tops out at 1GB.

*USB2.0 Data Transfer (doubles as a Thumb Drive)
*Extended Battery Life
*LCD read out
*30 FM Stations Memory
*Equalizer Setting
*Auto Folder Scan
*Voice Recorder
*Arm Band & AAA & Software/Manual

BTW: 1GB Muvo TX FM fetches $218.50 @ FS / BB / The Source (http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/Product.aspx?language=en-CA&catalog=Online&category=MP3-Flash&product=1419631) --> i have a new one for $150 if anyone's interested. that's just $35 more for 1GB storage vs. Boxing Day savings.

I bought one of these (512mb TX FM model) on ebay a few months ago for $80 and I can say that it is a really good player. Better than an ipod shuffle in many ways, I don't have any regrets buying it.
