Would it be worth it to get name brand batteries instead?

YES... these batteries get VERY hot when you charge them... hot enough that you can't handle them. Of course, this could have been due to the crappy 'Digital' brand charger used to charge them.

Also, these batteries don't hold a charge as long as they claim. I would stick with name brand when buying NiMH.

Agreed, it is hotter for GTA where they have many B&M locations. Shipping kills the deal.
