In the last few days I ran into :

my lawyer @ Yorkville

my neighbor @ Winners

an ex- coworker , who I hate @ Yonge/bloor

the bitchy lady who interviewed me for a job last week @ Newmarket

I usually hide before I see someone I know coming towards my way , but this time there was no escape . When I lived in NYC and LA , I never ran into the same person twice .

it's wierd, but I get coincidence/strange ecounters of people I know all the time. I used the phrase, it's a small world after all, 2 many times

Maybe you should suggest that they move so you dont have to see them anymore.

When you run into someone you'd rather not speak to, just say something that will make them very uncomfortable and they'll excuse themselves. i.e. when they ask how you are, respond, "Boy, I tell ya my hemorroids are acting up something fierce."

-Ran into a co-worker at Markhamville Mall. It's odd cause that was the first time I had been there, neither of us live in the area and both work downtown toronto.

-Bumped into my boss on my day. It was a day he was suppose to be at work but had to take the day off to do some errands.

-At the Eaton's Center was hangin out with a friend. She ran into someone she knew from her home town who just happened to be visiting Toronto the same time as she was visiting me.

How about this one:

Thesis prof: So where did you work this summer?
Me: ***********
Thesis prof: You're kidding me. All the blood in the mice got super oxygenated and died after we put your product in them.
Me: O snap. I swear I never worked on those products while at ********.

Small world.
